Bloodline

His sire is Rustic Dawn Iolaus, a dual Supreme Champion, National age group winner (fleece) and recently a sire of his own first Supreme Champion, Rustic Dawn Thunderstorm. Iolaus has maintaintained a low micron, stylish fleece through the years.

His dam is Rustic Dawn White Gold, a broad ribbon winning female from an excellent family. Her dam is the multiple broad ribbon winning Awatere Gold Dust who has also produced the broad ribbon winners Rustic Dawn Gold Mine and Rustic Dawn Dexter D. It is a wonderful family line! Mr Prospector is her second cria. Her first, Rustic Dawn Buster Scruggs placed 2nd (of 6) in his intermediate class at the National Show. Her third is Rustic Dawn Higgs Boson who was champion junior male and champion light fawn at the 2025 Rangiora Show.

It is fully expected Mr P will maintain his fineness as has been the case with both his parents, his sibling and close relations. We are very pleased at his maintenance of a low sd into his intermediate fllece. His most recent fleece is amongst our top tier and will be shown in 2026.
